Hi, I’m Marie, and if you are looking for a beautiful, healthy Shih Tzu puppy raised in a loving home, you have come to the right place. We are a small family kennel in Sedona, Arizona, and our Shih Tzus are family first. They live in our home, sleep on our sofas, and every litter is born and raised right here in the middle of family life.
Our puppies are handled and loved from the day they are born, so they grow up sweet, confident and ready to become part of your family. Each one is vet checked, up to date on vaccinations and deworming for its age, started on its potty training, and goes home with its health documents, food, a blanket from the litter, toys and everything a new family needs for the first days. Bringing Home a Royal Silk Puppy
Finding your puppy with us is simple and personal. Browse our available puppies, send us a message about the one that has caught your eye, and we will tell you all about them. When you are ready, your puppy comes home to you, whether we meet you in Arizona or arrange safe travel to your door.
There is no application and no deposit, and our puppies go home from eight weeks old, weaned, settled and ready for their new families.
Our Family
We are a family in Sedona with a handful of small Shih Tzus who share our home. The mothers are our own beloved dogs first and foremost; they sleep where we sleep, and every litter arrives on our sofa and grows up in the pen in our living room, which is what you can see here.
Our puppies spend their first eight weeks in the middle of family life, with the television on, the family coming and going, and plenty of cuddles every day. By the time they leave us they are confident, social and used to everything a busy home has to offer.

The Perfect Family Companion
Shih Tzus were bred for one thing: companionship. They are affectionate, playful and gentle, happiest curled up on a lap or following you from room to room, and they get along wonderfully with children and other pets. Small enough for an apartment and easygoing enough for a busy family home, they are one of the best companion breeds there is.
Their beautiful coat needs regular brushing and a groom every six to eight weeks, they prefer a cool room to a hot afternoon, and they love company more than anything. Give them that and you will have a devoted little friend for many years. Meet Bruno, one of our own.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take a deposit?
No. We keep things simple: when you have found your puppy and you are ready, you pay and your puppy comes home. If you need a few days to arrange travel, just let us know and we will work it out together.
Is there an application?
No. There is a short contact form with a few optional questions about your home, which just helps us tell you which puppy would suit you best. It is the start of a conversation, not a test.
How big do your Shih Tzus get?
about 8lb as adults. That is at the small end of the breed, under the 9 to 16lb show standard, but it is not teacup or imperial, which mean 6lb and under. The sizes, explained.
Do you ship puppies?
Never as cargo. We meet you in Arizona at a public place we agree on, or your puppy comes to you by ground transport to your door or with a flight nanny in the cabin. You can also fly into Phoenix and take your puppy home yourself. How each one works.
